Writing this for Trixi
We have an AKC Bearded Collie, Kate, belong to the BCCA and had volunteered to adopt a rescue, when we ended up taking two. The placement coordinator called and said there was a dog in Shawnee just 40 miles from Edmond, Oklahoma where we lived.

We agreed to take her, then found out she had three legs. The vet believed she must have been born that way, since there was no evidence of surgery. No way of knowing exactly how old she is, as she was rescued from the side of I 40. She was eating road kill and very nervous around men. Trixi is the very definition of survivor, to me. How she taught herself to walk is a mystery. What I am looking for now is someone that has knowledge whether acupuncture works to relieve the pain with these conditions. We want to delay heavy drug use until as far down the road as possible.

Hey all!
My name is Patricia Chrestman. This is our sweet girl Trace.
We recently adopted her from In Defense of Animals.
She is such an incredible girl! She is our first tripod.
I could not imagine life without her.
It's like she was meant for us.
She is so kind with our little girls and goes everywhere with us.
