My name is Wyatt, and I'm a 2 year old terrier mix.
I'm originally from Georgia, where someone shot me in the shoulder.
I was found on the side of the road, had the bullet removed, and was sent to New York in hopes of getting adopted. Luckily, my mom Emily found me, and once I was adopted, my left leg was amputated. Ever since then, I've been doing great!
I run, jump, and play with the best of them, and even give my 60 pound, pitbull/boxer mix "sister" a run for her money.
I'm very spoiled, very sweet, and very happy.

Ed the 3 legged Doberman.
I have a doberman, Ed, he is the love of my life, he also has only 3 legs. I am a Vet Nurse, and one day, this beautiful, tiny puppy was brought in with a badly broken leg. After x-rays revealed the extent of the damage, the breeders (who still owned him at this stage) reluctantly decided to have him put to sleep. I have always had a thing for dobermans and also didn't think that a bad leg was enough reason to be put down, so I aquired a new baby! We had the leg pinned at first, but the healing process was going as well as we'd hoped, so after another couple of operations, decided that the best thing for Ed would be amputation. And the best thing, it was! Ed was happier, and more relaxed than he'd ever been and is now nearly 3 years old and best friends with my (human) baby boy! 3 legged or not, Ed is the most beautiful dog I've ever seen. Cassie should be proud of her site! Well done, Hopalong!
